All my fish died from Ich

The only thing that was added were snails and crabs. My rocks were all dry and man made. My tank is also barebottom.
My hippo is still alive. I tried to get him out by moving rocks around but it's going to be almost impossible to get him out without taking all my rocks out. He's in bad shape and I think I saw him try to eat a pellet. I tried to grab him blindly and I'm pretty sure he bit me
Do not waste any time. I did and it cost me a lot of fish. Tale all the rock out right now and get him out. My tank is 3x your size and I did it.

Just to help possibly solve the mystery... the shells of snails/crabs are capable of housing ich & velvet tomonts (encysted stage). Once theronts (free swimming stage) were released, they would seek out fish to infect. Or just inadvertently come into contact with the fish. ;)

So for future reference how do you add more clean up crews to a display tank with fish in it? What if the qt also has fish in it?

He is not out until i remove the rocks and before i can do that i need to remove my canopy, which i cant do by myself. I am going to try to make a bottle trap with a 2 liter today, but i doubt that will work.

Fly-fishing gear...well, a line and hook are all you need...can be extremely effective. Bait with something like mysis.

It's not no-stress but it's very often much lower stress than the mad chase around the tank which also disturbs all the other fish, breaks off coral heads, etc. ;) :) At least this way they are just chasing a piece of food and only the right one is affected. File the eensy-weensy eensy-weensy barb off the minuscule #2 fly fishing hook and it's virtually a pain-free experience.
