All my LPS are dying....

Hey reefers, I've had my tank for 15 months and it's been stable and healthy to this point. I don't recall changing anything but for some reason my LPS is receding and dying. I have Acans, candy cane, frogspawn, hammers, and Duncan's all dying... The anemone, zoa's, and leathers are all fine and don't show any concerns.

The skeletons start showing around the edges of the coral and the "meat" recedes until it's eventually gone.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!! I'm still pretty new at this so go easy on me ;)

Temp 78
Salinity 1.026
PO4 .1
PH 7.8
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 80
Nitrates pretty high!

I was loosing euphyllia pretty consistently until I started test alk and dosing to keep it somewhat stable. I'm not super strict about it but it has helped a lot. Have a had a couple hammers now for 5-6 months that are splitting/sprouting new heads. I would start there. I have a Nuvo 20. I thought water changes would be all I needed but turns out that wasn't the case.
What are you dosing?

I posted some pics of the dying LPS

A lot of good suggestions. I also think your Nitrate is too high and that 6 hour photo period is not long enough. Could you be over feeding your fish? That would cause high Nitrates. Using LFS Ro water is another unknown. Stable Alk and Ca are very important for coral health and growth I am curious what those 2 would test in your tank. However remember that above all corals like stability so when you start making changes make them slowly over a period of time.

A couple things jump out at me. What test kit are you using to test?

1. Nitrates are high
2. What is your Alk, Calcium, and Magnesium
3. Light period isnt long enough
4. What intensity is the light and how close is the light to the tank? Might be too much or not enough light
5. How long have you used Phosguard? IMO, the Aluminum based phosphate removers really mess with corals. Atleast for me it did.

Also, they dont appear to be dying. By the pictures they just dont look happy. Unstable or out of range parameters will cause this.

My Elegance Coral is my canary in a coal mine. Whenever it seems a little retracted then I know my phosphates are getting a little higher.

I dose 5 ml of Brightwell Alkalin8.3 every other day. I don't think this is the best strategy long term, I should probably start dosing 2 part, BUT.... my euphyllia has been very happy since I started doing it. Long story short- test your alk and make sure it doesn't get too low. I test (when things look grumpy) with the Red Sea kit. Let us know if you end up testing.

Also, yeah, get your nitrates down. Mine top of at 10 with just water changes, blowing of rocks, and Purigen. I think the lps likes the nitrates. Your pics look my my frogspawns before they croaked and I got my alk up a little bit.

For nitrates. . . take a look at your magnets in the powerheads as if leaching metals can be a contributor. Hi grade carbon in the sump section for sure and ADD aLK gradually AT NIGHT WHEN LIGHTS GO OUT .

Bring down those Nitrates and get PH up , whats your ALK ? and make sure its not swinging more than 1/2 DKH pre day. Watch tentacles from other corals , check when lights out , you be surprised how long they can be, especial some Chalaces.
