Thank you Dav for this and overlaid with other posts today about contradictions and mixed messages it makes it all the more apparent to folks who have suffered through all of these and learned and have "moved on" need to also learn to listen to the newer members to understand where the really are and what they really need before spewing there wisdom.... i.e., I have great success with emeralds (females only) and I know other don't, to the context of well meaning advice needs to be carefully considered.. best of luck moving forward

I shared hydrogen sulfide because I could barely find anything online on it. I wanted to share my personal experience. Everyones tank is unique, I think I still have a picture of my big emerald. He grew from a nickel to a half dollar in size. His pinchers from side to side were 4inches. He knocked over a lot of corals. He waved his knuckles like he wanted to fight haha. I still love the dude. My females I replaced him with all killed each other. I am no biologist I just thought my own experience could help others.
