I have 300 gallon sps tank since 2 years , everything was perfect until this summer . All my sps corals dying since two months , no changes at all , all parameters are perfect ,I did change 30% of water and still the same .my temperature swing about 1.5 degree but it shouldn’t be the problem .here are my parameters alk 7.7 stabile , cal 450 , mag 1350 , nitrate 1-2 , phosphate 0.05 temp 79 at nigh 80.5 during the day . Lights radions gen 4 pro at 60% + t5

I would definitely do a triton test .
I have experienced such things with my friends and we tore everything down to find an iron screw in the tank .
I would check all pump impellers , run heavy carbon and do water change and use something like metasorb or other metal absorbing solution like triton detox .

Regards,
Abhishek

@Abhishek has some great advice.

I would also go through and do an equipment check. Disassemble pumps, power heads, and look over heaters. If that comes back clean, then I would drop in a polyfilter pad and see what color in changes to in order to determine the cause.

Check your top off water container and make sure your RODI is still putting out 0 TDS water.

This, its summer and a lot of places add chloramines to the water.

1) How are your corals dying, can you show us a picture under the white lights? If you see burnt tips, it might be due to chloramines in your water. 2) Have you checked for pests? I know its easy to think that you don't have any pests but it happens. 3) The next thing would be either , underfeeding the tank, or low flow. 4) Another thing people overlook very often is the PH , now that its hot most people tend to close the doors and run AC all day, That drops the PH like a rock, and if your Ph dips below 7.8 a lot of Acropora would die while others don't seem to be affected.

When in doubt toss in a poly filter, I always have them on hand for unexplained emergencies. Agree with Triton and if possible check for copper, I have seen bad things happen from elevated copper levels..

My ph is dropping down to 7.8 some times but not much I can do , I’m using kalk and hose from my skimmer to outside for frauds air . How can I check for pests ?

If there are Pest you can see the eggs on the already dead SPS.
If not dip 3 random colonies in a Bayer dip.
Did you ever dipped your corals before adding them to the tank?

What I see in the pictures looks like You had a large swing in one or more of the parameters in your tank.
Many times SPS are RTNing from the bottom up in that case, even your parameters are good now but you might not have noticed.
I suggest always even hobbyist going into the SPS game to test for ALK and No3 daily.
You can see on these two elements easily if something is wrong with the overall parameters.

If possible, I would find a poly pad and toss it in really quick. Something is definitely wrong, have you looked for red bugs??

All of these are great suggestions. I might also make sure that none of your equipment is leaking any electricity into the water. You wouldn't notice the stray voltage your self unless you happen to be barefoot and stick your hand in the tank (DON'T DO THAT ! ;Woot)

Most likely like Diesel says you had one swing that caused this. I had it happen from a simple cleaning of the bottom of my tank during a water change. I noticed a week later I was getting die-off of corals. Unforuneally there is no way to stop this. You can try to frag the corals and hope some will live but many times this kind of event you have to ride it out and keep things stable. I that corals that survive are the tough ones in your tank. I wish there was a better out come I have had this happen several times in my 25 years keeping SPS.

When was the last time you added anything to the tank coral wise ?
Looks like a swing to me ?
Stray voltage is a good suggestion
I have some Sps frags when you get things stable bro

There is no stray voltage in water . I just bough ATI Lab test , maybe some heavy metals

I have similar situation, before change my tank from 150g to 225g my corals were growing and with color. After the change I lost 2 mariculture sps colonies and 2 aquaculture colonies. I sent my first water sample to Ati lab and they found copper, tin, nickel, vanadium and aluminum. I ran metasorb for 1 week, I did triton detox, change 30% water and sent again the test. When the result came back, tin was reduced, more cooper, more nickel, vanadium same and less aluminum. I check all my pumps and all were good, also I reviewed all the magnets. Now I'm running cuprisorb to reduce cooper, nickel and other heavy metal, I will send my test next week to ati again.

I second this -- my only caveat would be don't dip in bayer, dip in Melafix. Bayer works fine for most pests, but Melafix is crystal clear, and you can see exactly what came off. Additionally, Melafix kills AEFW, where bayer doesn't (try it, trust me -- Bayer doesn't kill AEFW)

So what did you end up finding was the cause of your die off or did you figure it out? I have a similar situation and doing all that is suggested - exact same pictures (essentially) in my tank with my sps...
