Where do you get your water? LFS? Your own RO/DI unit? If from LFS, stop buying EVERYTHING from them. Invest in your own unit. If you make your own RO/DI I'd maybe think the Hanna reagent might have an issue.

I make my own RODI water and simply mixed the BRS kalk in that container with it. This blew my mind lol thenLFS did give me that containee though maybe they used copper in it before? Or maybe the hanna is bad?

I'd start out with the container. Also you can confirm you Hanna reagent by testing water you know have no copper like drinking water.

As long as the kalk container is really the source of the copper and can be eliminated then don't reboot you tank, it'll be better when it's mature

Can confirm drinking water says 0, checked RODI again and now says 0.01.

Well you found the issue. The container from the LFS I'd say. Trash it and test mixing kalk in a separate container. Then you can rule out the kalkwasser for sure and keep using it in a separate container.

The kalk is also reading copper aswell surprisingly, almost identical to the level of copper i have in my tank.

The thing is now im screwed how do i keep alk and calcium stable? I was adding it through ato now idk what to do since i have no doser or anything.

Just buy a 5 gallon bucket from Lowes or HomeDepot to use. Or find another container locally that is brand new that works in your situation. Easy.

So the kalkwasser is good to use? Maybe it read copper by mistake since it wasnt fully settled. I will get a bucket tomorrow.

Maybe it'll help alleviate any concerns. From reading the article from Randy Holmes (http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2003-04/rhf/feature/index.php) you could be adding copper from other sources as well. Maybe read these and decide a proper course of action that you can maintain and determine if it helps your situation.

Awesome thanks a ton for helping me out, im throwing that countainer out the window and see how it goes. Got cuprisorb on my tank to start eliminating the copper thats in the DT already.
