I'm not into sticks but I can not lie, those are some nice ones.
Tbh I traded a large Duncan colony and some other corals for the acropora - seemed to me to be the ‘next step’ to take in reef keeping and I truly think when they’ve grown they will look great. My Garf coral is pretty large now and is one of the most attractive corals in the tank (imo!)

Nice specimens. Make note of your levels and try to maintain that level

Levels are measured twice a week and ICP test done regularly. I’ve found a husbandry schedule that works well and stick to it religiously. The only coral I’ve had that didn’t grow, and do well, was a Lobo and that was down to my tang irritating the life out of it.
It was my LFS that encouraged me towards Acropora’s - they said if I could get a Garf to grow the way it has then I’d have no problems.
However, I’ve read enough forums to know things can change quickly!
Have to say that it’s been a godsend having a LFS who gives great advice very willingly - they farm their own corals and has giving me fragging lessons and the like. I’ve not had many issues since I started reefkeeping 3 years ago and a lot of that is down to their guidance (and patience!) with me.
