I was thinking about people in the saltwater aquarium industry that have really helped people over the years and contributed knowledge through books, speaking engagements, blogs, forums, videos, etc..

I would like to hear from you about who you feel is an All-Star Reef Personality or Professional.

For me I really appreciate people like Mark Callahan better known as Mr. Saltwater Tank!

I dont know but for me i really enjoy the information i get from trusted and successful reefers from places just like this. I also dont have to worry that they are getting paid to push product or sell me something. These guys that have been there and done that and are willing to share experience with no fame or benefit what so ever are the best!

Please note that my statements arent about anyone place or person but just my feelings on the subject.

Two that helped me a tremendous amount in my formative years are Bob Fenner and Anthony Calfo. I was lucky enough to get them to my local reef club twice for speaking engagements and only had to pay for airfare once then dinner and put them up in fellow reefers homes the second time. I also love their books of which I have several.

I really like Mark Callahan too, i think his shows are great and fun to watch (he also has the best t-shirts!).

For me the ultimate reef personality is Bob Fenner and wetwebmedia crew. They have always been such a huge and reliable source of trusted reef info for me.
