These are the 2 fish I'm looking to acquire. My current favorite fish is my Magma fairy wrasse. No good picture but the little guy displays like crazy when the blues are on at night. So fun to watch him! Beautiful cherry red color during his showing off. Little does he know (or care) that there is not a female fish in the entire tank

I've had a female before, but would love a male female pair at some point.

My mandarin dragonet's are my favourite fish and pretty much the whole reason I got into the hobby in the first place.

In future I'd love to have a Moorish Idol at some point too!

My current favorite is a toss up between my wartskin angler and my bengaii cardinals, I just love those cardinals.

And the one I want is another toss up between an Achilles tang and a pair of mandarins. Not require a major tank upgrade as I only have a 20gal now.

Big morays are always fun, greens/giants/undulateds are my personal favorites. Gotta watch out for those teeth though!

In general, the larger the fish the more personality - is what I have seen.

Since I'm a wrasse freak my current favorite should be my Potters wrasse but in all honesty it's my Copperband Butterfly who thinks he's a puppy.

My favorite I hope to own? Lots of ones in the running...Regal Angel, Achilles Tang, Green Mandarin....but ultimately it has to be

My copperband butterfly amazing fish eat likr a total pig super social eat from my hand
And purple tang would be my absolute fish i want but the price is out of my league and the only store who get them is big al wich is a no go to buy fish alway infested

This 1/2" burrfish I collected off Long Island was my favorite. He grew too big in a year and I gave him to a public aquarium.

Now it's probably my bluestripes.

Fave fish right now? Tough call, because I chose each of my fish because they're fish I wouldn't mind looking at for the next ten years . . .

Have to say that my Bali exquisite fairy wrasse is up there, even though he's not fully mature. Something about that green fish with red trim, can't quite put my finger on it ... (~_^)

As for fish I'd like to acquire, the list seems to fluctuate and grow like that old movie monster, "The Blob", but there's one fish that has become something of an obsession - Scarus quoyi, Quoy's parrotfish or Greenblotch parrotfish. As young fish and females, they don't look like much...

but the adult males are astounding - and pretty darned reef-safe, from what I've been able to glean! I've only ever seen one in my life, at Michael's New York Aquatic - a year ago, when I had no plans to upgrade my system. Now, with a 220 gallon reef-ready tank sitting in my living room . . . .
