Has anyone had any experience with zoa's moving from led lighting to t5's? What effects does it have on growth, colors, etc?

Moving corals from bright to low light is a lot better on them than low to bright. Good luck! Post pics!

The front 3 are the ones I'm talking about, they haven't been growing very fast at all since I got them from a LFS who uses LEDs, I have T5s

They're about 5-6 inches below a coralife High output T5 light fixture, with medium flow. I've had them both for about a month and haven't seen another polyp on either. Other zoas are doing well on the same frag rack

Try moving them down lower in the tank and see if that helps.

Awesome thanks for the advice everyone. I've read they cannot really be exposed to too much light. Going from LED to T5 HO do you think they are receiving too much light where they are comparatively to the LEDs they are used to being under?
