Light brackets all built. They will house 2 400w metal halides, 4 Reefbrite Supra dual bulb and 4 xho actinic led.

I’ve ordered a variety of 400 watt bulbs to test the par and color.

Water change system is nearly completed. I need to connect it to the drain and connect to the sumps for water changes.
No buckets or hoses here!

I used 1” .25 gauge tubing connected to the roof joists to hang the lights from.

I’ve been collecting sps and zoas for the last couple years. I need to pick up the pace on my build. Some are closer than I’d like to each other other and growing faster than I’d like.

Sumps for the qt tanks. I’ll be using jabeo 15k pumps for these along with 1 maxspec 250 powerhead on the bottom for detritus.

Lighting is still up in the air, but I’m leaning towards a 250watt halide with a hydroponic fixture that I’ll also be using on the main systems.

For skimmers I’m either going to a reef octopus or bubble magnus dc skimmer.

I ordered a few different reflectors for testing. This is the one I’m really hoping will work out. It’s 34x26 and has a ripples finish inside which is suppose aid in even par everywhere. It’s priced right and made by a popular company in the reefing world. It uses the same 95% German reflective aluminum. I’ve already received and built it. Very sturdy and nice build quality. Raised to 24” it should cover a 5x4ft span from reviews.

Nope, I’ve learned with a previous business in auto performance to keep your hobbies separate. There will come a day you begin to resent it otherwise. Now I drive lightly modded cars and hate wrenching lol

Personal only. When the project begin I wanted one huge tank with a single qt tank in the back room of a boskiness. I had trouble with the county and they wanted me to jump through all kind of hoops rezoning and insane impact fees. The bay in this strip mall will be my home away from home and I’m looking into another location to expand.

The bar has been raised, sweet build and love the idea, I have come to the realization that I no long would make a man cave in my dream home but a reef cave as well.
