I have a 40b tank with 4 clownfish and a flame angel. I’ve gone to 4 different lfs and they all give me the same answer, that all my levels are fine. The only problem with it is all my anemones? Dead, almost every coral? Dead. All the hardiest corals in my tank are dead while some of the pickier ones are fine. Why is this happening.

Let's see some pictures of your tank -- and a look at your "pickier" corals. If you have a new tank, it simply may not be mature enough to support many of your cnidarians (anemones included).

It could simply be a result of poor water quality and a lack of water changes. If you aren't testing your water (yourself) regularly, and with quality equipment, you're running blind. Are you doing water changes? And with what? Do you make your own water?

Is that a slow death or quick, overnight thing?

When anemones are dead, I guess all corals were affected?
