I recently siliconed my baffles in a sump overhaul project. after this cures, I will officially be ready to start my cycle. My DT is sitting full of base rock and saltwater, but I was waiting for the sump to get the whole system flowing before I started the cycle. This may not be exciting to yall, but to me it literally is a dream come true! I just thought I would let yall join in on my excitement! I Will be doing the shrimp/live rock/live sand method to start the cycle as well as some stability so it's almost time! Any suggestions before I start would be appreciated

People tend to not listen to my stocking ideas. I like big ambush predators lol. I'd do scorpionfish and/or eels :) or cuttlefish! That would be awesome.
But I see you like your inverts so they're all bad ideas lol. Clowns, anthias, and wrasse are all good starting points.
I actually have a freshwater eel and I have wanted a saltwater eel and a lionfish, but I feel like I will enjoy it more if I have peaceful colorful fish

Aw nice! Is it the fresh water moray? Or a different species?
For me, I won't ever own a tank without some kind of predator in it! I love my eel :) But I see the appeal of colourful peaceful fish. Maybe one day I'll get around to that!
Do you have any specific fish you really want to own?

It is a different species that was wild caught in a south American river. It's an absolute pet now and the life of my tank. I would really like to own a fuzzy dwarf but it would upset my stock list too much
