Seriously these guys breed like mice!
I can just imagine what a die off would do to my water.
Oh and over the last 6 months they haven't stopped!

These guys get stuck in my skimmer, in my reactor, through the chiller.
I need help!

Or is it a fact of life??

I wish there was a local club! I would give so much to people
I just get tired of cleaning these guys out of the equipment.
They start out so small they make it past all my filters

My first thought is to give them away to fellow reefers.

You might also want to try a melanurus wrasse. If you keep it hungry it might go for the snails.

I don't have good connections for fish. I got most all mine from unique corals. They are usually limited on fish.
I like this idea!
I will see if Scott has one :-)

They've had them before, and I believe they do now. I got mine from Unique and its gone from 2.5" to almost 5" in a year. He hunts and pecks at my snails, but I feed my tank a ton. One of the best fish Ive ever gotten through mail order!

Yea my trochus used to breed all the time and like op said they get stuck in everything . was a pain just give them away I used to have hundreds

Sucks that you don't have anyone near you. I'm sure so many people would LOVE to take those guys off your hands xD

The stay small. Not like the others.
I got them from unique corals if you want to see what they look like.
Thanks Scott!!

Have you considered running filter socks?
Once you start you can clean out your sump (wet dry vacuum it out and then scrape it clean). After that the socks should catch the little buggers.
If the eggs get through the filter socks you will have to vacuum and scrape the sump again but it should keep everything bigger than an egg from getting in to the sump...
