Chiller has been hooked up, made a few holes in the wall to find some water lines for the RO unit....added 2 fish I had in a frag tank...mandarin and another small fish I can't remember the name of, they seem to be doing fine for now, a few corals were added as well.. Let's see how it goes

Thanks dude!! I feel very fortunate to have been able to get all this going, hopefully it'll be a smooth ride.... I started the hobby in ATL where I would just make my own water and add salinity. However since I moved back to Miami I've found out that lots of people use ocean water...anyone have any experience?? Pros vs cons??

Thanks!! Everything seems to be doing half decent as of now, still need to get the apex up and running....during the move I accidentally let the ph probes dry out...$90/ea...$180 mistake : /

I don't recall probes costing so Dagon much!! Did you buy some super fancy lab grade or what?!?

They were the lab grade, just wanted to be on the safe side...not sure what the diff would be realistically...seriously thinking I will get the reg probes

I would expect it to be a super investment that will last you a bit longer than normal. I would hope you wont have to replace them for a while.

It definitely is a great investment, priceless being able to monitor the tank from 1000 miles away..helps protect my acrylic money pit...I believe they do last a bit longer than the normal ones
