Im getting new flooring so I need to move my tank like 20 feet out of the room. Its a 45 tall, with a 29 sump in the stand. Anychance I could drain the sump, and drain the tank down to like 4 inches and puts sliders underneath and slide it around and refill it really quickly? The stand is super beefy so im not super worried about problems related to that.

I wouldn't try that. When you move a tank with substrate and water in it you're placing the joints in danger of be twisted enough to cause a leak. I've heard about it several times. If it were me I's go ahead and complete empty it and maybe replace the substrate when I put it back up.

it's best to empty it as much as possible.

That said I have moved a tank/stand (55g) short distances by getting all the water out, rocks fish and corals, but leaving the substrate in. It required several strong young guys to move it.

plan b, its at the end of a room and im getting pergo so ill cut around it with a oscillating tool and floor up to it and paint match trim around the base and no one will ever know. and if I ever move it ill back out a few rows and fix it...problem solved..
