Alternate Lighting Schedule for Weekends

Is anyone running an alternate lighting schedule on the weekends? Mine is currently set for sunrise at 10 am and sunset at 9, 7 days a week.

Thinking it would be nice to have sunrise earlier on the weekends when I’m home all day to enjoy it.

That would probably be fine to do but it is always best to keep things consistent. Maybe try it out for a month and see if you notice any changes

To change the times would be to suit your needs. The planetary bodies are not aware of this concept of "weekends"

jk. I would keep consistent and adjust the schedule to somewhere between were you want it on both weekdays and weekends. I couldn't even consider this anyway as my arctic revives only allow for a simple on off of blues and full spec. My blues are on from 8am to 10pm. And my desire is for full spec is 10am to 8pm. Right now I have no full spec because I'm seeing some hair algae and my tang is 4 weeks out in QT to get to DT....

But honestly I don't think the fish would notice if you fired up the lights an hour early or turned them off an hour later on weekends.
