Alternate Uses for Skimate

General question. Does anyone use their skimate to water plants (of any type). I was thinking about starting to dump it in my vegetable garden as a fertilizing agent. This also got me thinking. Are there other uses? Any and all thoughts welcome.

I haven’t used skimate specifically, but I used to water our plants with freshwater tank water change leftovers and they did amazing

I do use it to make my daughter dry heave!
I didn't think about the salt. But would it really have much of an effect when diluted with the fresh water?

Salt buildup is a concern in potted plants. I experimented with 2 large tree type plants and the one I put skimate in every two weeks died in 2 months. The week that it turned brown and died I started noticing salt effervescence in the saucer.

Your skimmate could contain many different things; having variable pH as well. You really don’t know what you’re putting in and no two skimmates are the same.
