Sold a previous frag tank to go with something bigger. At first it was going to be in a finished portion of the house which meant it had to look decent. Now we decided to move it into the unfinished portion of the the basement which means I can look into some thing else besides a traditional glass tank to save cost. I want the foot print to be around 48x24 in order to use my current lighting. Depth I'm not too picky on but would like at least 12" to have my water volume to be roughly 100g with sump. I don't mind it having some depth as it will be lit by MH/T5 combo. If it wasn't for how shallow the hydroponic flood tables are I would be all over a tray and stand like the ones BRS use to sell.

The tank I'm looking into as of now is Deep Blue Rimless 80g. Dimensions are spot on but I would also like to cut out the overflow and convert it to an external overflow to maximize space. Tank plus overflow is roughly $650. Anyone have any ideas for tubs or anything else that would be suitable? I have seen people white rectangle tubs but have no idea how to search for them or where to find. Any input would be great thanks!

Yeah I saw those but they are only 8-9 inches deep so less then 30g. I would rather have something with a little more depth for the added water volume since this will be a stand alone system and not tied into a current setup. I have everything I need just need to find the right water vessel.

Check on pentairs aquatic section. I know they have tubs like you are looking for but I'm not sure what shipping would be.

Also you should be able to get the deep blue 80g without being drilled if you want to change the overflow. I've got 4 deep blue 80s right now and really like them.

Gotcha. I was thinking that tub tied into a 50 gallon reservoir underneath. But hope you find something that works for you…

I have a Pentair fiberglass tub. It was only $650 shipped freight and is 96"x48"x12". It's very I inexpensive for the size. The main cost are the 8 Kessils needed to cover it!

I use this 20 gallon Brute tote heavy duty and it comes in white. This is nice especially for QT and dipping.
I have several for different purposes. Very easy to setup and store.
