I'm curious to know if there's anyway to purchase livestock from a lfs in another country that doesn't ship abroad. For example there are some awesome lfs in Australia and European countries that don't want to deal with the hassle of shipping abroad and understandably so. Higher mortality rates and so on. But let's just say for the sake of argument myself or someone else wanted to take that gamble for a specific specimen. Is there a realistic option say for example a FedEx local pickup (not sure if that's even a thing lol) or something like that. That would pick up a package from a lfs for express shipping? I'm sure there's a way to make it happen but of course the lfs would still have to agree to it. However if I'm shipping it it would take live delivery liability off there hands and might be a more agreeable option for them. Anyone ever do anything like this?

The short answer is no. Fish and soft coral technically can be done. Read up on cites. All corals that have a skeleton are cites listed.
Googling time now thanks.... So zoa's and palys and mushrooms are a possibility?

Well that was a buzzkill

So are you able to get cites permits for import how does that work? I know for a fact wholesalers from Indonesia and Australia ship to the states in bulk. It's crazy if that's legal but I can't have enough for.... Personal use. (Lol sorry couldn't think of better wording)
