I have used lot of MarinePure Biofilter Block and my ICP test indicates super high on Aluminum on both of my tanks. Any alliterative media (non-ceramic) for bio filtration?

Have you noticed anything bad that you can attribute to marinepure use?
The super high aluminum might be inert due to the way icp tests.
I also removed after high icp, but really liked the surface area.

Looks like seachem matrix is probably pumice, glass high porosity.

Wonder if the Brightwell Blocks leach Aluminum also. Been using the marine pure spheres for a while now. I’ve read about marine pure leaching aluminum a while back. There was a lot of talk about it when they first came out. I guess they haven’t changed the properties of their product. I personally haven’t had any issues with it. But have never had an ICP test done. Seems like people were saying after a year or so of being in water they don’t leach as much. Lol.
I’m definitely looking for an alternative for my new build.
