Need to re route the piping and all and try find a way to protect it from sun and water...

Octopulse pumps with the hydos flow controller are a great setup. Lots of flow, minimal power supplies laying around, and great control.

Can anyone chime in specifically how Octopulse 4 run at minimum flow? My main disappointment with my MP40s is they move too much water at minimum flow which makes it hard to create the alternating flow I want.

I don’t have the 4’s, but from a friend’s experience and reading reviews, unless you have a 5-6ft tank, I wouldn’t go with the 4’s. They have a wide range of flow, but the maximum is insane and the minimum is a strong solid flow already to start with. I have a 4 ft tank and the Octopulse 2’s are already ripping good flow. The lower range is definitely low enough to give corals a break between pulses and the random mode. With full blast set as max it is very powerful. The gph rating on these Octopulse pumps really does seem very modestly rated compared to the Vortechs.

Tunze 6105. Probably more reliable than anything else being discussed here.
Agree 100% I several 6015' that are 15 years old and they still push alot of water. The new ones have controller. I am a Tunze guy but really like the Jebao ow series.
Ow-40's would work real well on your system. The controllers have better options over the Tunze for control, imo.
