I have two 400GPH powerheads lying at the bottom of a 15 gallon drum; just drop the salt in and let it churn ! So much easier.

Well, considering a huge water change for me is 5 gallons, that might be overkill!

Thanks PBJ, just that I live in an apartment so all the water is from the washroom or my kitchen tap.

They make adapters to run it off your sink. Been there done that. Not fun, but good water is the absolute cornerstone of this hobby. You do everything else perfect bit bad water can make it an exercise in futility.
