Aluminum wrapper from mysis hazardous in tank?

I was feeding my tank with a cube of mysis and unknowingly a small piece of aluminum or foil which ever it is went into the rock work... will this pose a threat?

I've done this in the past, hasn't ever shown to be a problem. I actually found a little piece of it in the tank yesterday and I haven't fed that food for a couple months now!

Okay phew!! Oh my, well thankfully it hasnt done anything adverse! But maybe it could've been from another frozen food? Also, good luck with the new tank build

I was feeding mysis and brine shrimp in the packages with aluminum backing, I stopped that a few months ago and switched to LRS which comes in a ziplock plasstic bag, so it had to have been buried in the tank for a couple months lol

I think we all done that, if you have been feeding long enough. I usually will pop them out on my counter and throw them in a cup. This way if the foil is attached I catch it before going in.
If it does take it out if you can, if you can’t no big deal, say it’s decoration.

LOL, none in my tank yet but the top of the beer fridge is covered in those little aluminum squares. Freezer over the beer is mostly fish food.

LOL! My fish get more use out of the beer fridge than I do. I guess I should call it the fish deli.
