Alveopora

I have one its been with me for about six months but it wont open like when i first got it aone of the heads died and the other is there trying to make it it opens half way one day and then it wont open for days dont know what to do any more

Mod to lower flow, mod lighting, the sand bed is usually good placement. Easier to keep then Goniopora, fairly hardy as long as water quality is good. It's been my experience that they do better in a tank with fish and lps rather than ultra low nutrient systems designed for sps.

Have you checked your water chemistry, is a neighboring coral stinging it, fish nipping it.

Water the only thing am having a little problem with right now is nitrates but i dont know how much harm will it do
