Hi everyone , this is my first post I have an 18" cube that is 25 gallons rockscape is broken macro rock reassembled viparspectra 16" above glass susun303b 370gph aquatic life skimmer eheim 200 watt heater started tank on 1/22/22 started with 20 lbs arrived live sand so waited to test first , followed directions and was at 0 amoama 20pp
Nitrate and 40 nitrate so I did water change and clean filter mostly with oid water. Today 0 amoama 20ppm nitrtes and 40 ppm nitrate. Not sure what to do next 15 gallon change,? This is my first post. Thanks

It will take a long time for dry rock to establish the bacteria that turns nitrite into nitrate. The presence of nitrite makes the nitrate test invalid. I would by a bottle of bacteria like Dr Tims or Fritz Turbo, add it to my tank . Wait 1 week and your tank will be ready for 1 or 2 small fish.
