Hey R2R, looking for confirmation on this algae. Upgraded to a larger tank, brought over all of my rock, going through the uglies pretty quickly, but in the last few days this algae has really taken a foot hold.

Its not a "branch-y" or "fern-esque" as the bryopsis I'm familiar with but it definitely has a branching structure. Its difficult to get a good picture, its all about 1cm in length so far. Trying to determine the best angle to take, if it is bryopsis then some fluconazole is in my future, but I also dont want to dose 4x if its a "branchy" turf algae.

Thanks everyone!

Here is (possibly) a better shot of the "branchy-ness" sorry I dont have a macro lens to get much closer.

Looks like it to me. Use some flux rx and be done with it. I battled it for too long before I finally dosed it with no ill effects. It’s a real pain if it gets out of control

Bryopsis, yes. Pull as much as you can by hand, reduce white light intensity.
Either fluconasal (flux) or liquid vibrant will get rid of it

Thanks everyone, I'll order up some fluconazole. :-( Should get it knocked down in a few weeks then. Probably better than some of the turf algae's at least flux will take it out.
