Am I cycled?

Working on my second tank? Am I cycled? Used TurboStart and ammonium chloride. Last time I did it this way was so long ago. I feel like I should do a water change and I’m good to go. Please confirm.

It would seem so but you will need some good size water changes to bring nitrates down now. Ideally you would like to see ammonia at 0 within 24 hours. I would still add some nitrifying bacteria just to beef up the colony.

I will do a 50% water change and then dose ammonia back up. I used some bio media from the other tank and a bottle of TurboStart. I’ll do the change tomorrow and then dose ammonia back up. Thanks for the input. I talk to my wife but she just stares at me. LOL

I wouldn't bother adding more ammonia. There is no point

Thank you all for confirming that I’m there. I’ll do a large change, add another dose of bacteria and toss in the CUC.

At least yours stares at you mine yells at me when I spend to much time with the fish. 50% water change will bring nitrates down to 50 so still high. Will want to do another good size change before fish.
