Am i dealing with Aiptasia?

Spotted this in my sump today. I'm thinking Aiptasia? Its sticking out of a hole in the rock.

Yup. That’s aptasia.

If it’s easy to get rid of the rock and you aren’t attached to it, I would chuck it. If not, I would buy a bottle of aptasia x and try some of that. Aptasia x worked for me. peppermint shrimp and aptasia eating filefish didn’t do a thing to my aptasia.

Whatever you do, DONT try to grab the aptasia and rip it out, smash it, or try to do any harm to it. Because aptasia think that means you want more and you’ll end up with hundreds LOL

Good to know! I pulled the rock out and broke off a piece it was in.

Try aptasia x. I had one on an utter chaos frag and the X took care of it with no harm to the frag

Lol. A friend of mine told me to take the rock out being careful not to touch them then cover there spot with reef glue

They’ll go around the glue like hydroids. Little devils. I hate them. Cooked them with boiling water. Attacked them with a wire brush. Took a lighter to them. Covered them with super glue then reef epoxy. Two days later they’re all alive and thriving!

They’ll slowly start growing. They’ll eventually have a little colony. And obviously bother coral

I cant get a picture of it because it's so small but I got this tiny worm (3/16") with a forked tail cruising around on my glass eating isopods. There are a couple others that are about 1/16". They are a tan color. I cant find anything on google that has a distinct forked tail like these do.

I do believe I've found the correct ID. Amphiscolops sp. Flatworms.

Could be acoel flat worm.

No matter what is said, it my ipinion, not napalm nor a blow torch will kill aiptasia in that rock.
