Total water volume 75 gallons. Mixed reef. Not a ton of growth.

In order to keep:
CA 425
Alk 9.7

I am dosing daily:

CA 140 ml
Alk 100 ml

Magnesium remains 1300-1350.
B-ionic 2 part.

It just seems to be a lot. Let me know your thoughts.

My system is almost the same size as yours. From your picture I think my tank has significantly more coral and I am dosing only 15ml per day of Alk and 19ml of Cal. My Alk is on average 8.5 / Cal average is 450 / Mag average 1406. I am also using B-Ionic 2part. My guess is that your 2 part is precipitating out and you are wasting most of what you are dosing. Are you dosing both at the same time? They have to be at separate times. Also one thing I did is place a small pump beneath the dosing lines to help mix as the solution is dosed. Hope that helps. :)

Thank you, John Hernandez. It sounds like I am doing too much and it's precipitating. I've noticed some hardening on the shallow aragonite bed.
I dose part 1 and part 2 about thirty minutes apart, manually. Dosing at the top of the display right over a strong power head.
I'll figure out dosing some day.

Esv 2 part should be dosed at the same rate for part 1 & 2.
Same with any 2 part.
I was dosing esv at 45ml 1&2 in my 120 before firing up my carx and I had alot of coralline growth along with about 40 acros of different sizes.
Do you have buildup in your sump?
A hardening of the sand is a sign of over dosing.
Stop dosing and test alk only levels for a few days in a row to see what consumtion is.
