I have a 125 g mixed reef tank, with 5 Anthias, 1 Foxface, 2 Tangs, 2 Nemo's, 2 cardinals, 2 small Damsels, 1 Comet, 2 Gobies, I feed them once a day with a pinch of pellets and 2 frozen Mysis cubes,
Coral a mixed selection of SPS, LPS and Mushrooms, of which I feed twice a week with a mixture of half a teaspoon of Reef Roids and 5 cubes of frozen mixed food, my nitrates are at 2ppm but I cannot get phosphate below 0.10, I am changing Rowaphos once a week, now at wits end !!

For got to add I use 10ml of reef energy A&B daily

The tank could have P04 which has bind to sand or rocks over time. It could take 3-4 weeks before all the hard work pays off.
1.Try to Rinse mysis and strain before feeding
2.Cut down on the Reef roid use to once per week and 1/4 teaspoon.
3. Create feeding schedule on paper and follow religiously, which makes it easier to identify spikes.

Don't take my answer wrong please, but I don't think your problem is your feeding - I have a similar size system and I feed around 10 cubes of frozen food a day, I give aminos, etc. and I have very low nitrates & phosphates (undetectable).

I would dare to say that your problem is everything else rather than your feeding schedule/quantity... Now until you fix the filtration/nutrient export issue, you might want to skip the reef energy A&B and spread the food over 2 or 3 times...

A couple of thoughts.... You may want to reduce your use of reef roids... That will help bring your phosphates down. Not sure you really need to supplement feed your corals given the nutrients and the numbers of fish in your system.

I would be inclined to suggest looking into a chaeto reactor, algae scrubber or set up a nice refugium to help bring your nutrients down. Take your rowaphos offline and not run any GFO... I like the algae / chaeto options as they are more natural....easier to maintain...and dont strip out too much from your system.

I have a big algae scrubber on my 180 system. It has done a really nice job to bring my nutrients down... I have a great pod population too... and can feed now like crazy.

Good Luck!
