Hi,
I have a 29 gallon tank thats been running for about 4 months now. Im planning on getting some corals soon, but I'm also wondering if my tank stocking is done. I have: 1 ocellaris clown, 1 midas blenny, 1 blood red fire shrimp, & 2 bangai cardinals
So far my tank has been running great and my parameters are really stable. My nitrates sit at about 3-4ppm with once a month water changes (I don't mind changing water more often, just haven't needed to)
My setup:
29 gallon
1 powerhead with 800gph turnover (I run this on the lowest setting)
30lbs Live rock
Live sand
1 fluval 307 canister filter with only seachem matrix and filter floss (plenty of filtration power for my tank).
I was concerned about trying out the canister strategy, but its working great to be honest and I have had no problems with nitrates.
Am I maxed out on fish if I want to have a reef tank?
