I am am resealing a 60 gallon tank. I have scrapped the old silicone off and cleaned the glass. I also taped up the sides so I get nice cleans lines. As I was sealing it with the new silicone I ran out of silicone in the middle of it. I thought I had enough. apparently not. I have never ran into this issue before. I have always had enough. The Big question: Do I have to strip it all down again and then reseal it or do I leave off with where I stopped? This is going to be my saltwater tank. I am going from 35 to a 60 gallon.

As long as it remains clean you should have no problems in getting good adhesion to the already applied silicone.

Cheers, Todd

Your just throwing down a bead on the seams, this isn't what water proofs the glass. If you stripped, and removed all the glass, then were replacing it all, then yes, you'd have an issue, but your just throwing down a bead, I'd not worry about it.
