I have heard some horror stories or rockslides in people's aquarium and now I have become so worried about it that I don't know what to do. Originally I put my reef saver rock in ontop of the sand bed but last night I rearranged it. I pushed all the larger base pieces deep into the sand until I felt it touch the glass. Any pieces that I stacked on top I made sure we're locked in place and couldn't shift back and forth at all. I tried to superglue and epoxy the rocks together but there's just too many contact points to do all of it.

Would a gobie/shrimp pair cause this rock to fall? Would snails cause rockslides?

The idea of a rock slide has made me very nervous and I want to make sure my fish, coral, and aquarium are safe.

Yes, you are paranoid. Small fish and snails do not cause rock slides if the base rock is solid. They are caused by sticking your hands and the tank and jacking with the rocks. Or eels moving in the rocks. Or large fish that like to turn rocks over looking for food. If your base rock is firmly in place a goby excavating around it will make a cave but not a slide.

If it makes you feel any better, I never use epoxy to hold my rocks down. I always make sure they are well aligned together so they are stable on their own. My tank went through an earthquake in MD a few years back and only one rock moved. The quake was enough to shake some things off the walls, but the tank was fine.
