It's been in this spot for about a month. Does it look happy? Once its glued it's hard for me to give it more/less light.

Thanks. While we're at it I'm thinking about gluing the bird'snest/whatever it is. Does it look happy too? I do t know what it's supposed to look like

looks fine to me. There is white on the underside, but that doesn't look like tissue loss or anything, just the fact the underside receives less light. The best way to gauge happiness of a seriatorpora species is growth, if its growing noticeably, its happy. they are very fast growers.

That's no birdsnest, that's a pocillapora. If you're a beginner it's a fun coral, but they spawn and will start filling up your tank with mini colonies in a short time.
