Amazon (flucanazole)

There are loopholes in how the item is labeled i think. Anyways, what I ordered was not the strength, (amount) that I thought it was. It was flucanazole though so don’t worry about that. I will comment further with pictures of a product later that I ordered from a well known site opening of the seal and stuff. I have it on order atm

I was mistaken… sorry the product I was assuming was bad had just changed there packaging. I have some very stubborn byropsis in the tank and even after a 3x overdose some base strands and roots are still hanging on. It did however get rid of 95% of it. Just so frustrating having to dose this over and over and over again.

I want to jump on this if i may ..... do you have any pics of what your problem looked like ? i have had a huge problem in the past with what i think was bryosis as well , i used a stronger grade of fluconazole after using flux rx with no luck ... got rid of my issues completely for over a year and im seeing the same algae pop back up again. very interested to see how to rid our tanks of this problem forever ??
Thanks

So here are 2 pictures. One was before I did a big cleanup job and added some tiger conches and Pitho crabs, which have worked wonders in the tank. On that picture you can kind of see it propagating in the top left and top right next to the sps corals ( it is the blue picture ). I did not get A picture of the byropsis at its worst but, take my word for it, it was bad.

The next picture was just a couple seconds ago with whites near 100% for picture purposes only. I purposely killed one of my encrusting montipora as I seen it was getting out of hand.

The byropsis pops back up in the exact same places. This time I am trying to nuke it so to say with a overdose. I have left skimmer and carbon off for weeks for it to do its full affect. Its been a couple of weeks now with 3x dose which cost me like a 100$ and I can only see small stubs of the roots of it. Which does not fill me with confidence that it will stay gone. This is my 4th time dosing the tank in a year. I am going to leave it in the tank for 2 months at least with no skimmer or carbon this time. It does not matter to me if skimmer is online at all anymore as I can’t get any readable nitrates or phosphates, which I want.

Really I would like to drop the whole thing. I am fine with keeping a low dose of flucanazole in the tank if that is what it takes. As for the issue of potency I can’t really comment more about it. I do not have the technology to detect such a discrepancy.
