Hello to all,
So my Current USA return pump failed....again! I was dreading having to drop 250+ on a new DC pump, then saw this on amazon:

I did buy it, only $66.

Has anyone else used this pump? and if so, what are your thoughts on it? It's got 4.5 stars and over 1000 reviews.

Try to get some money from the company that had your pump break

I have that on two of my tanks, used to be on three. I had controller problems on the 5000 model a few years ago, but the 4000 model one has been going good for three years now. It’s either those or jebao pumps for me.

My screen shows the current watts being pulled, and the arrows let me chose between 99 levels of power. That’s right. Not steps of 5 or 10%. I have 1% increments of adjustment.

I cleaned it for the first time about 3 months ago. Aside from being difficult to open from crusty deposits, it was in perfect condition. Did have some muck inside but cleaned easily and no parts show any wear or tear.

I have to say, this pump is working great! although I do have to keep it at the lowest setting because it is the 1025GPH one, in a 40 gal AIO, it throws a heavy current any higher.
