So I acquired a free 50 bucks to amazon.com... Im curious if anyone knows of any decent deals or necessities I could get off there?

nothing comes to mind right of the top of my head other than gel filter sheets for placing in front of your camera lens to filter out the atinics in tha tank, i think they are only like $8. Im sure I'll think of something, when i do I'll let ya know! Im not all together sure of what all you need and such so yea.

There are plenty of things on Amazon....but I have no idea what kind of tank you have....or equipment. For example, do you have a refractometer? That is a necessity for me. As far as equipment, I'd be looking to pick up a spare Cobalt MJ1200. But again, need to know where you stand on equipment and tank setup.

2 canisters on a 40 gallon b. I'd say 40-50lbs of lr. Fluval reef and marine 2.0 led lighting. I've got a refractometer. And the canisters are temporary until I figure out a way to get a sump going...

Refractometer is a great suggestion! If you have corals, test kits is another option. Reef glue? Bone cutter? A spare heater?
One of the first things I bought was a refractometer... paid way too much at the aquarium for it but oh well I got one. Reef glue would be handy I'd say. And as far as a heater, I've got a 200 watt. Would a 300 be too much? I also seen a digital ph meter bit wasn't sure just how accurate it would be...

You typically want two heaters that by themselves will be enough to heat your tank. That way in case one fails you have a backup that will keep your tank alive!

You could get one of the Hannah checkers. Ultra Low Range PO4 checker would my recommendation, followed by Alkalinity. Don't bother with calcium since its practically impossible to get an accurate reading with one of those checkers.
