Anybody have a large fish only or predator tank that wants a amberjack? i got in an order today and somehow wound up with this guy...its about 7'' long..super pretty fish but needs a big home..if anybodys interested give me a shout please....if nobody wants him,i hear they taste pretty good....

They are tastey.I caught a 38lbs. one a couple years ago.Call the McWayne center in B'Ham and donate him.We done a donation with several others last year.

if anything try giving it to a local public aquarium. im sure they have enough space for such a fish. i'm also used to fish them and they can give a mean fight. + 1 on tasty

How did they accidently ship a amberjack? It had to be a mispick unless you ordered a semi full of coral that he could just sneek in there. LOL

this was a fish order..2 boxes,and i ordered 3 small pilot fish for my reef,but i guess they sent 1XL freakin amberjack instead...its cool,i sent it to a guy i know and i think he was hungry enough he wanted to eat it....it flew from across the globe to cali,then from cali to dallas and then to birmingham,lived at my house for 2 days and then i sacked it up for an hour ride and somehow it mysteriously died...makes me think of a song by temple of the dog...hungry...lol,only joking.....
