Hello, this might be a dumb question.

I just started cycling a new tank and I realized my apartments hall lights light up the tank pretty well.

As I don’t plan on turning on the actual reef leds (redsea reef led 90) on for 3-4 months so that the tank can mature, I was wondering if I should worry about the hall lights causing algae issues during that time?

anyone have any thoughts?

here’s a pic for reference of how much the hall lights illuminate the tank.

Not a dumb question. Ambient room light does seem to illuminate the tank pretty well. Might have minimal growth, like diatoms and film on glass, but nothing like what would be with the actual tank lights turned on. Nice tank and scape btw!
