amemone questions and a dumb lfs

Ok so I was curious if my local fish store could order a few different types of anemones and went in to ask them about the availability of them. The three I asked about were a rbta, sebea, and a ritteri. I was told they would call me when their order list come in and they would let me know the prices and availability, i was not intending on making a order except for maybe the bta just wanted to know if they could get the others and how much for in case i wanted one later on. Thats not what happened!!! Instead they ordered all three, and told me i could take my pick and they would put the other two in their tank to sell. Here is the problem: they have one 55 and 2 40 breeder saltwater tanks and neither have proper filtration and neither have lights over them. the sebea is gonna be white with the purple tips which i know is due to it being stressed and bleached. Ive had btas before and lost them when my tank crashed a few months ago, due to me removing the sand bed too quickly, but before that they were fine. Ive never had any dealings with a ritteri so all i know about them is what ive read.

My Tank parameters
90 gallon tank with 2x250w 14k phonix MH bulbs and a Evo 200 led dimmable lighting, whole system has been up over 2 years and was previously in a 55 before that for 3 or 4 years. System has been stable all but the sand bed issue; which lead to a canyo outbreak which is about gone.

Mag 1600..........I cant get this to come down much lower
My questions:
1. What are the chances of the sebae making it if i get it ? I know it has to be fed often till it gets it zooxanthellae back. What kind of flow does it need? Is my lighting good enough? Where in the tank should it be put?

2. Are the rose btss any harder than the greento keep? if not im good to go with that one I think.

3. The ritteri i know nothing about so any info would be helpfull.

I know I cant have all three in my tank because of chem warfare, an the sheer size they grow too. Only other corals are a clam and a toadstool, and a head of frogspawn, Btw i replaced the sand bed with black aquarium gravel about 3" deep. I have all kinds of power heads i can alternate flow from also. If i missed anything or any other questions please ask and all advice welcome. I go to mee the store owner at 11am central time in the morning when the order comes in. Im gonna also post a listing in the mtrc page if anyones close that can save the other two it would be great,

As far as I know the rose and the green bubble are about the same difficulty (relatively easy). Sebae seem to be a lot more difficult than the bta but I never tried to keep one. Ritteri are near impossible to keep unless this has changed recently. You need a lot of light and strong random flow. If anyone is successfully keeping one hopefully they will mention their setup and a picture if they have time. Your lighting and parameters seem fine (other than some nitrite showing up) to keep a bta or sebae. The bta and sebae should stay in different areas of the tank but the chemical warfare might make getting both not possible. Wish I could be more help but hopefully others will comment before you have to go pick one out. Whichever you get, make sure the mouth is closed,the foot isn't torn, etc.

Yea I have read those. I know the Ritter is extremely hard to keep. I HATE to see it die tho in a dark tank if it looks healthy I may get it and give it a go. I just don't want to end up crashing my tank again because of a poor choice in judgement by the lfs to order them. Any other suggestions or comments?

I have had my sebae anemone for over 2 years now. When I got it, it was pretty bleached. I kept in my 55 under 2 X 250 watt metal halides and 4 X 96 watt PC. The anemone thrived. I rarely target fed it, but it would take in little bits of the food that I feed my fish. It prefers a sandy substrate with some rock. My sebae is partially attached to a rock and partially on the sand.

Have you seen the H. crispa? How short/long are its tentacles? If they are still over 2 inches long might be worth taking the risk. However, if they are short (( less than an inch )) I would pass -- since it is already consumming itself for energy.

I ended up with all three im gonna try and find someone local that can take one or the other of the seabe or the ritteri and im definatly keeping the bta its awesome colored. The H. Crispa was bleached white but it still has long tentacles id say most at least a 1 1/2". Mouth on all three were closed and foot looked fine, The mouth on the ritteri opened as i was acclimating it but is now closing back up pretty quick. Man this thing is huge already and it just keeps growing as it opens. its beautiful i would love to keep it. Ill start a thread on it later to show pics. Thankfully my tank dont have much in it at the moment. The bta ran for the darkness and i can barely still see it. I may need to screen top my tank for a week or so and let them adjust. Hey trex any advixe for good care of the ritteri?
