So I went through a period of high nutrients, and now have the opposite... I've been doing acropower now for about a month and have noticed some improvements in my SPS but nothing earth shattering.. I have also started feeding Rod's Coral food a couple times a week during lights out.

What aminos are you guys using for all SPS systems? Mine is 95% SPS, and I'm open to trying something new.. This bottle of acropower is almost going to be out here soon.

I would continue with AP. My corals looked great while using it, but I was never sure whether or not it was making a difference. Ever since I ran out (about two months ago), I've noticed a marked decline in color and PE. I'm planning to pick up another bottle ASAP. Additionally, I'd reccomend feeding something with much smaller particle size. I use a combination of Reef Chili and NutriCell.

It took a while for me to see anything but one day things just started to explode with color and growth. Currently I dose a few things on alternate days. Just like us, eating the same thing everyday can get old.

Reef Chilli
AquaVitro fuel
Red Sea Reef Energy

I've been dosing Acropower for a little over a month and have noticed a definite increase in growth. I think I'll be sticking with it.

Thanks everyone. I need to pick up some reef chili here, that's one thing I have not tried.

I'm using aquavitro fuel and my corals seem to love it , I'm thinking of also dosing some reef chilli

I just received my bottle of Fuel and was wondering if the color of the liquid is yellowish? Do you guys refrigerate it? It sure smells like vitamins!

Yes it will be yellowish and yes it should be refrigerated, even says so on the bottle.

i have been using reef energy and i have seen good improvement with my acro's color and pe.

I've used both fuel and AA. Couldn't tell if one is better than the other, but I like not having to keep the acropower in the fridge.

Elos Omega AA, surprised more people don't use it, awesome stuff.

Thank you everyone for the great responses. I'm about 70% done with a large bottle of AcroPower, and just ordered another one. I would say absolutely my colors got better, and even doing daily dosing (enough to equal a weekly dose). Like I said, my issue was always over starving the system to get rid of phosphates, now that I finally have, I dropped GFO to a tiny amount, feed a lot, AP, and slowly adding more fish. I would think that for a 150G my system is very lightly stocked, so I know that will help a bit with nitrates. With new skimmer, and everything I don't have to clean the glass but weekly.

The piece that benefited the most, and showed me the AP was working was our raspberry lemonade. It's at the top of my rock work, and before any dosing I was able to see some purple on the coralites, but body was drag, and nothing, almost pale. Now that body is showing some decent green\yellow color and is getting better by the week!

I'm also trying coral frenzy, and reef chili. I've never fed any of that stuff before so we'll see how that goes. I'm looking forward to some more results.
