Amino Acids and Vitamins

I have been researching Amino's and Vitamin's for the reef tank. I was wondering what you guys use for amino's and whayt you use for Vitamins.

Can vitamin's benefit SPS? Or is it mainly for fish and inverts?

I'm not sure they are useful as much more than a source of N in a low nutrient system, and as an organic carbon source to drive bacteria and possibly other growth.

I never dosed them to my system, which was not a low nutrient system.
