Amino Acids - Aspartic

I've been reading researching the most useful amino acid to dose is Aspartic Acid..... but supplements come in a L-aspartic and D-aspartic formulations.

I'm open to hearing thoughts on:

1) is aspartic the most useful amino to corals

2) which formulation "L" or "D"

I feed to dendronephthya corals, raw egg(alittle at a time), has most amino acids, why not feed complete diet.
