Well since I have started adding AA's I have started to notice a difference in color in some of my SPS. I started AA's on 4/23 to help with color and PE. My tank at the time was running in ULN conditions (PO4 .04 and NO3 0). I was experiencing tanning and pale color in a few corals and after some reading I thought AA’s might help.

Tank conditions have stayed the same, as far as PO4 and NO3. I have added a few fish in hopes to get the NO3 up to 3-5 ppm, but no change so far. The fish were added a a few weeks after starting the AA’s. I did notice color change before the fish were added. So I feel that the color change is a result of the AA’s.

Here are a few pics. More pics to come as I notice a significant change. Forgive me fro the bad pic my camera is not the best.

My Tyree soli has had the biggest change of all. It was nearly all tan and is now starting to green up. It has all so gain a nice purple rim. BeakerBob's efflo has also colored up nicely. I could never retain the color that he has gotten, it has alway been tan with no purple rim. It is now gaining its purple rim ( sorry no before and after pics)

Here are a few more that have colored up. Sorry no befroe pic, you will just have to trust me;)

Excellent. :)

Looks great and nice tank. I am a recent AA user as well and am clearly sold after only a few months.

I think the closer to low nutrient, or straight up low nutrient system you run...the more benefits you will be able to see from the dosing

I would have to agree. My system is near a 100 gal with 5 fish. I was only feeding pellets 3x a day. I havn't had a NO3 read for over six months ( tested with mult. brand at 5x) At one point my PO4 read 0.0 with a hanna. I have now been able to get them up. ULN was something that I was not tring to get it just happen. I do water changes once a week and it turn into a bad habbit.

I agree that AA's only benefit ULN tanks. I'm using Elos. We'll see how it works

I started using Seachem's AA a few months back and the change in color is phenomenal!
A LFS near my workplace got a sample pack of Brightwells lineup and I persuaded them to start dosing their display tank with the AA to see what it will do and I have noticed a big difference in their tank too! Not seeing their tank often as my own I noticed a greater increase in color and overall coral health.

I am dosing twice a week per instructions on the label which I think is 5ml per 20g, I am using the Seachem AA. As for tank parameters....I haven't tested in a while to tell you.

i tryed it and never made a difference in my tank

Me either.. I used zeo aa and nothing.

Honestly the before pic looks better than the after... The second pic they look darker but not more color. The green coral on the left does not look as good and the purple coral on the right does not look nearly as good.. The soli looks better. But also looking at the the differences in the corals that are not in the second pic or are in but not the first there must be a pretty big difference in time frame. If there is a big difference in time between pics it is hard to say if it has anything to do with aminos.
