Hi,
Wanted to leave and observation and see if it resonants with anyone..

Have 2 mixed reef tanks, one - a 180 was supposed to be SPS dominant, but I wasn't good enough to start with, and the other was supposed to be a 90 lagoon softie/LPS, but it was growing SPS when the 180 was struggling (self-inflicted errors)

So both are mixed, but focusing on Acros, Millies, montis, in the 180, with a nice array of Euphyllia and gonis spread around at the lower level with a few trachys bowerbankii etc on the bottom

High light even at the lower level (170) and 370 to 450 above.

Am inconsistent with my broadcast and spot feeding in the 180, but its easier and more fun in the lagoon. Therefore I have been dosing nightly (via Kamoer) with AcroPower (cuz Thomas told me to) and things are healthy but not thriving.

14 days ago I started adding AF Coral Amino Mix - as per instruction, by hand (it needs refrigeration it says) and have only missed 2-3 sessions.

Realize it is a complex multivariate hard to pin down world out there, but things have been pretty consistent except this change, and am seeing shades of color in the tenuis, waving polyps in the millies, puffy plump trachy, bowers, like I have never seen before - montis are growing by the day - alk - via KW - is being consumed and being upped - in fact I have to go check now

Gonis, zoas, frogspawn, torches are all fine, not apparent differences

Like I said, it could be something else, but all else has been consistent as it can be.

will keep it up and see how she goes

will add some pics later -

I'm happy with it so far.

By the way used to do a bunch of work at VIDO... and have visited your fair city plenty of times....
