I was setting up a new dosing unit and during calibration it pumped 10ml of brightwell aquatics amino acids In my 65 gallon system! Will this overdose of amino hurt coral or will it just fuel an algae spike or something?

I doubt it's going to be a big problem. Your skimmer may help.

Hard to tell from my experience, never dealt with that problem yet but I would suggest in keeping a close eye on your parameters, especially alk. The overload might swing alk, I just don’t know in which direction. From the pictures I see a hang on skimmer. I would run the skimmer very wet to pull out as much aminos out as possible. I you have enough NO3s, I would also perform a 25% water change & switch carbon cartridge to a fresh cartridge. Keep the tank in observation for the next 3-4 days. That would be my approach to the problem. Hope it helps.

Aminos get skimmed out quite quickly. For them to work at all really you have to turn off your skimmer for a bit while you dose

Some will, and some cannot be skimmed out. Very polar amino acids such as glycine are not attracted to air/water interfaces can cannot be skimmed out. Ones with larger hydrophobic portions, such as phenylalanine will be skimmable.

IMO, the most likely issues from a large enough dose are a bacterial bloom (possibly including cyano), an increase in nitrate and a possible drop in O2. I don't think corals will care. Fish may care about an O2 drop.
