Ammonia alert badge - can you reuse?

If you place an ammonia badge in a tank for a few weeks and then remove it for a month or two to where its complety dry. Can that badge be reused again?

I see it has a 1 year expiration date, but it doesn't mention anything about if you remove it and want to add it back in

I'd put a little water in a zip lock bag, and stick it in there, to keep it damp. Pretty sure they can be dried though.
