Ammonia emergency

Yes the cause is specifically fish disease, a dead fish cannot be handled when it compounds into another as a chain reaction. Snails alive above was the safety window to remove fish. If you want, simply clean your tank, use the current rock and bacteria, re fallow the tank. Some corals can be saved if you clean now vs wait. They will be closed up, but not dead. Do this immediately to arrest the loss cascade. Do exactly as Jon did

Removing fish from your tank immediately and cleaning the system as shown is the right step. Any delay for customization or adding dosers to the water will not work. Non fallow fish disease caused this, not lack of bacteria or they'd never make the first night. You can likely save all your corals, they're not dead if flesh remains

Man I can’t believe it. Everything was great Thursday then for some reason the flame angel died Friday. Then we were able to add prime and do the water change. Each night at bedtime they were good and when we woke there was dead or dying fish. Banded coral shrimp, serpent star, some snails and I haven’t been home but my wife said

That really sucks, sorry for your losses. Clean it up and try again.
Rinse the sand, purge your rock. Go fallow for awhile.
