ammonia for nitrate source during fallow period.

going fallow on my 350g system... yeah for me. I am worried about crashing nitrate levels in my mostly sps system.

can I just add ammonia in a daily basis to keep things in balance? I mean... isn't that what the fish are doing?

You could, but nitrate dosing might be easier. You will also need phosphate.

You feed your corals right? I'd just ghost feed the tank ,enough to keep your No3 where You want it. You think the corals would like it ?

I am worried just feeding coral foods wont be enough. I never thought I would ask this... how do you dose phosphate??
