Ammonia remover for reef tank?

So my reef tank has crashed and I'm recycling it atm. Corsl are safe. I'm just wondering if there's any ammonia remover along with my water changes that can help lower ammonia. I'll be adding microbacter7 also

the only thing I know about that is close to that is prime, however I am seeing threads of people saying that prime has no effect on ammonia (can neither deny nor confirm)

My kit tells me 2ppm but that is right after everything got evacuated a some snails died
